Residential Terms and Conditions

This form includes important information about our residential trash collection, pricing and payment policies. Questions? Please ask! We’re available during office hours at (931) 644-0124 by call or text. You can also email us at alcdisposals@gmail.com.

  1. Delivery Fee and Account Setup Fee: We take payments for service up front.  With this upfront payment, we supply the 95 gallon trash can at no cost, for as long as the account is current. This service is for weekly trash pickup in the provided cans. You are agreeing to lease the cans, and keep them clean and accessible for as long as you have possession of them.  We reserve the right to modify or exchange the cans at any time.
  2. Email Billing: We provide billing statements through email only to reduce the use of resources and to help us keep our price as low as possible. If email billing is not an option for you, we can still set you up for automatic payments.  If you need an invoice mailed to you, we can accommodate that as well.
  3. Electronic Payment: Recurring credit card or ACH payment is requested. Again, automatic payment allows us to keep prices low and focus on great service instead of manually keying payments. If you utilize a Bill Pay system, be aware that your bank still generates a hard copy check that is mailed to our office. Banks utilize a third-party for this system and group checks into batches to save on postage expenses. As a result, payment is often delayed in reaching our office. Plan ahead if you intend to use a Bill Pay service as we are not able to remove late fees for delayed payments.
  1. Service Term and Auto-Renewal: When signing up for service, you agree to keep that service.  This will continue indefinitely until either party cancels.  It is the customer's responsibility to inform ALC Disposal if you move or can no longer pay for service.  Any delay in that will result in billing cycle costs and the customer is still responsible.
  2. Ending Service: Service may be cancelled prior to the end of your service term for any reason. If you are cancelling for any reason other than a service failure on our part (after giving us a chance to fix it) we are not able to provide a proration for your final month of service.
  3. Price Increases: We will do everything we can to keep your price low and the value high, however, we will have to adjust pricing from time to time to keep up with increasing fuel and labor costs and the County’s annual increase in disposal rates. We will notify you of any pending increases in cost in advance. We will not prorate for current prices due to future price increases. You must notify us in advance of your intent to cancel at the end of your current billing cycle.
  4. Holidays: For most federal holidays, the landfill and transfer stations that we take your trash to close. We will notify you well in advance of any holiday schedule changes and will attempt to spread the inconvenience of holidays as fairly as possible. Your pickup day will most likely change around the holidays, or during weather events.  We will notify customers by email or text, as well as post on our Facebook page of any changes.  It is the customer's responsibility to look out for these notifications.
  5. If your trash is not picked up on your regular collection day, and the container was placed out the night before, please reach out at (931) 644-0124 by text or call.  Or you can email us at alcdisposals@gmail.com.  Occasionally something happens, and we miss a pickup.  We will try to remedy the situation as soon as possible. Our drivers do take pictures of all stops that are not out, problems accessing the container, and overfilled.  We will not come back due to your negligence. Leave your trash can out as our trucks will occasionally run late because of weather or vehicle issues.
  6. Recycling: We unfortunately do not offer recycling services.  There are scrap yards if you would like to dispose of metal yourself.  The counties also offer convenience centers to dispose of cardboard, and used motor oils.  You can contact your own county for information on hours and acceptance stations.
  7. Hazardous Materials: There are certain hazardous materials that are prohibited by the landfill or are a risk to our trucks and crews, including: propane tanks and bottles, gasoline cans, liquid paints or chemicals, fertilizer, ammunition and tires. If found in your trash, these items will be returned to the curbside. We reserve the right to cancel service to any customer who repeatedly places hazardous materials in their trash cart for collection.
  8. Trash Outside the Cart: We pride ourselves on providing premium service to our customers. Unfortunately, due to safety issues, we cannot allow our drivers to repeatedly pick up trash outside the cans.  If you have a one time extra pickup of items, please arrange this prior to pickup with the office.  There will be a small fee for this service, and the driver will not pick up unless he is notified to.  If you need a 2nd can, we will be happy to supply one or more at a fee per month.  We do utilize an arm on our trucks to pick up the cans.  If trash flies out due to negligence, or non bagged items, our drivers are not responsible to pick that up.  Please leave your trash bagged in the cans, with the lid able to shut properly.
  9. All accounts are due on the day of the month you were set up in our system, unless otherwise agreed upon. If you agreed to autopay, the auto draft will come out on that day.  If a card was declined on autopay, we will attempt to run that card again at a later date. A late fee may be applied after 30 days. A suspension of service will take place if payment is not made by 45 days. We will remove your trash bin(s) by 60 days if the account remains unpaid.  Any invoices accrued at that point are still due, and will be submitted to credit reporting agencies as delinquent accounts.
